About Us
In Home Breeder
Meet our family! Here at Big Meadow Pups, we take great pride in raising our puppies. We know that these precious puppies will become members of your family. We work from early in the puppy’s development to ensure they are well socialized to people of all ages, including other pets too. On our farm, our dogs are close companions to our horses, donkey, and kitties! You can often find them playing and resting together. The open acreage on our farm, located in Troy, Idaho, gives them plenty of room to run and play. We work with our local veterinarian prior to each litter to make sure our dog is in best health before breeding. Since, we stand behind the health of our dogs, preliminary to going to their new homes, all our puppies have a complete wellness examination by our vet, their first shots, and are dewormed. If you would like to meet the puppies, prior to purchase, we offer on-site visits and virtual meet & greets. Thinking about bringing home a new furry family member? Meet Massey! (Dam)
Massey is an ASDR Show Quality, Mini Blue Merle, Austrailian Shepherd who lives with us on our family farm. She is precious to us and truly is one of the best dogs we've had in our family! Massey is a great indoor and outdoor dog. She plays hard, is not bad mannered or yappy, and loves to be snuggled close when she is resting indoors. She has a super sweet temperament and loves to be loved! Massey enjoys farmlife to the fullest! She enjoys playing with all our farm animals including cats, horses and the donkey!

Meet Sequoia! (Sire)
Sequoia is an AKC Mini Poodle who lives in Vancouver, Washington. He is sweet, loving and hasn't met anyone he doesn't like. Sequoia gets along great with kids and loves to run and play at the dog park. His breeder and Massey's breeder are relatives-- It's all in the family! The Love Story
Massey met Sequoia when they were just puppies. When they saw each other, it was obviously love at first sight! The excited couple raced through dandelion fields together, playfully explored, groomed each other and shared treats. They romped and wrestled in the tall, grass. It was true PUPPY LOVE! And the rest is history!

Personality Profile 1
YUKON proudly boasts the 1st born male of the litter. He definitely has a laid back and calming personality.
He is super friendly and is the biggest snuggler!
He truly loves to be held.
Personality Profile 2
TIMBER is the 2nd born male of this litter. His personality is more on the timid side, although he can be cantankerous, curious and playful. Timber is gentle and will be the one who stays close to your side. He loves to be cuddled. Recently, I have caught Timber humorously running around in circles whenever he gets excited. :)

JUNIPER (Juney) is the third born and the only female of this litter. She is recognizable by her playful, white stripes on her forehead and nose. Juney is alert and playful. She already loves to look into your eyes
as she snuggles. Super sweet!

KODIAK is the 4th born male of the bunch. He was born the biggest and strongest of his siblings and it still holds true. Kodiak is curious and adventurous. He approaches new people and new things with a happy, carefree disposition.
